You can read in every picture as you can read in a book. But even then letters are a bit more than pictures (and a bit more than pictures than pictures are more than pictures), and you can find them more frequently in emails than pictures.
To type, all you have to do is type. But how do you insert an image, picture, painting or photograph in an email in Outlook so that it appears in the message itself, not as an attachment? Well…
Insert an Image Inline in an Email with Outlook
To insert an image inline in an email with Outlook:
- Start with a message using HTML formatting.
- Position the cursor where you want the image to appear.
- Go to the Insert tab.
- Click Picture.
- Find and highlight the desired image.
- You can highlight multiple images using the Ctrl key and insert them all at once.
- If your image is larger than some 640×640 pixels, consider shrinking it to more handy proportions.
To insert an image found on a web site:
- Start with a message using HTML formatting.
- Open the web page containing the desired picture.
- Drag and drop the image from the web page in your browser to the desired location in your email message.
- Alternatively, click on the image with the right mouse button and select Copy from the context menu, then press Ctrl-V with the cursor at the point where you want to insert the image in your Outlook message.

Create and Use an Email Template in Outlook
To save an email message as a template in Outlook:
- Create a new message and enter the desired template Subject: and content.
- Click the Office button and select Save As.
- o In Outlook 2003, select File | Save As from the menu.
- Select Outlook Template under Save as type: in the Save As dialog.
- Type the desired template name (if different from the email subject) under File name:.
- Click Save.
To compose a message using the new template:
- In the Outlook Inbox, select Tools | Forms | Choose Form… from the menu.
- Select User Templates in the File System under Look In:.
- Double-click the desired message template.
- Address, adapt and eventually send the email.

All you wanted was to add a new account to Outlook Express. Now you’re in the middle of solving a perplexing riddle: the Accounts… item has disappeared from the Tools menu. This post provide Outlook Email Support to remove or Restore Tools | Account.
Send and Receive, Options…, Message Rules and what not: they’re all there; Accounts… has gone. It has not gone for good, though. The most likely reason for the menu item’s disappearance is an innocent registry key — which you can change to bring the Accounts… menu item back, or to hide it in the first place to prevent changes.
Note: if you have a system administrator and are not sure they’re not involved in the Accounts… menu item’s disappearance, do talk to them. They may have a reason for restricting access.
Remove or Restore the “Tools | Accounts…” Menu Item in Outlook Express
To bring back the Accounts… item in Outlook Express’s Tool menu or remove it:
- Make sure Outlook Express is not running.
- Press Windows-R.
- Type “regedit”.
- Click OK.
- Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express key.
- Locate the No modify accts value.
- If you cannot find No modify accts in the list, select Edit | New | DWORD Value from the menu, type “No modify accts” (not including the quotation marks) and press Enter.
- Double-click No modify accts.
- Type
- o ‘1′ (without quotation marks) to remove or
- o ‘0′ (excluding that quotation marks) to restore
- the Accounts… menu item.
- Start Outlook Express.

To set up an email signature in Yahoo! Mail:

- Make sure Show a signature on all outgoing messages is selected.

- Click Save Changes.

To create a signature in Yahoo! Mail Classic:
- Select Mail Options from the Yahoo! Mail navigation bar
- Follow the Signature link (under Personalization).
- Enter the desired signature in the text field.

Web-based access to Windows Live Hotmail is great, but a classic email client like IncrediMail has its merits, too. Ideally, you could combine the two.
With IncrediMail, you can by configuring email it to access your Hotmail account — if you are subscribed to Windows Live Hotmail Plus. Without a Windows Live Hotmail Plus subscription, you can use a tool like FreePOPs to access a free Windows Live Hotmail account in IncrediMail.
Follow the Steps:
- Select Tools | Accounts… from the menu in IncrediMail.
- Click Add.
- Choose Let me configure settings myself.
- Click Next >.
- Enter your name and your Hotmail address (“hmmzl@hotmail.com”, for example).
- Click Next >.
- Leave the user name untouched.
- Enter your Windows Live Hotmail password in the Password: field.
- Click Finish.
- Select OK.
